DRC Youth Event

Dear youth of the Democratic Republic of Congo,

My heart jumped with joy seeing the huge smiles on your faces as I looked over the pictures and watched the videos from your very special events in Kinshasa from August 26 through 28, 2026.

While looking at the pictures, it was easy to see that you came with huge expectations for the camp. It was wonderful to see you worshiping Him around the bonfire, and communing with the Lord during Quiet Time, away from the things of the world. I know the Lord was right there with you! And to our sisters, I trust you enjoyed your time and the royal treatment you received at Crown and Glory.

And the climax, the Lord speaking directly to YOU in the sermons Come, Follow Me, and Believest Thou This?. It blessed my heart to see the feedback and testimonies on how you were touched by the Lord and the lives that were changed, and the numerous healings. Praise the Lord!

The Lord truly knows how to give His children the best, and you are the best, because you are a part of the Royal Seed of Abraham, the Bride of Jesus Christ. I pray you felt like the royalty that you truly are, and above all, that you were drawn closer to our Lord Jesus.

I am so thankful that Father exceeded your expectations during the camp and giving you a time that you will never forget.

May the Lord richly bless you,

Sincerely,

Brother Joseph Branham

YF camp · Ages 12–15

This camp was a place where I met the Lord. My life changed when I went forward to the altar and was baptized; when I came out of the water, I felt like a new person. The counsel about choosing friends who follow Christ has also stayed with me, and I am being more careful about the friends I choose.

My favorite moment was the campfire: singing, praising, and being together with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Even more important to me were hearing God’s Voice on the Tapes and spending time in Quiet Time. Taking part in the camp brought me great joy.

The Tapes we heard deeply touched me and strengthened my faith. What I appreciated most was the balance between spiritual life and recreation: the worship and prayer were profound, while the games and meals helped us connect as young people and eat together like one big family. Thank you to VGR for all the work you have done.

Brother Peter K

The most captivating moment was Quiet Time, when we wrote to our Lord. I know I did not leave that camp the same person. I believe He has already answered me through that letter, and now I am waiting with expectation to hear from Him.

Sister Grâce

The Quiet Times and the Tape services were especially meaningful to me. During one of them, I was able to rededicate my life to Christ and decide to begin again. The day before camp I had injured my ankle and could barely walk, but the next day I was able to take part in the activities—even a basketball event. To me, that was God’s grace.

Brother Banks B.

I had prayed, “Lord, I want to experience the God of my parents. I want You to visit me, restore me, and renew me.” The camp’s fellowship, worship, and Quiet Time strengthened my faith. Since coming home, I feel restored, renewed, and deeply encouraged: the God of my parents is also my God.

Sister Exaucée

The moment that stayed with me most was Quiet Time. My heart grew calm and I felt my burdens disappear; I felt free, at peace, and deeply close to the Lord. I will never forget the campfire, either—I sang until I lost my voice. These two days changed my heart and the way I see things.

From a Parent

This camp was a great blessing not only for our children, but for us as parents. Although my children had been baptized before, they themselves wanted to renew their commitment through baptism, with fresh determination to serve the Lord. Since camp, our family has experienced a spiritual awakening; we continue to talk about what happened there with gratitude.

From a Chaperone

For years I prayed for a Young Foundations event here in the DRC. On the first day, seeing young people give their lives to the Lord felt like a dream come true. On the second camp, while we listened to “Believest Thou This?”, I felt the Lord’s presence in a way I had never experienced before. Since camp, my Quiet Times have felt different. I am grateful to have served these young people.
