Manager History:

Brother Jacques Iyomi Bongombe was born on January 29, 1979, in the city of Mbandaka, Equateur Province, in a Protestant family, as the first son in a family of 9 children.

He had the ambition to serve the Lord since his childhood. Even his relatives would often tell him, "You will always be a servant of God," because of his behavior and his position in difficult circumstances!

On a special day in 1997, his maternal uncle and believer in the End Time Message told him about a powerful prophet named William Marrion Branham and his Message, and invited him to attend the meeting that Sunday. There he found a minister (Evangelist) who was preaching on the subject: "Lean not on your own understanding"! His heart was touched, and he continued to attend this church until he became convinced that God had truly sent William Marrion Branham for our generation. Without further delay, he gave his heart to the Lord and was baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

On the second day of August 2000, he was chosen as assistant to the director of the VGR Library in Mbandaka.

As it was the main ambition of his heart to serve the Lord, he stopped his university studies to answer the Divine call and surrendered his whole heart, time, strength... to the work of the Lord to serve the Bridegroom and His Bride!

Additionally, on January 29, 2023, he was established as pastor in a Tape church! And after 24 years of service as an assistant, he has been chosen and established as the director of the VGR Mbandaka office.

Office History

The VGR Library in Mbandaka was established in 1986 under the supervision of Brother Caleb Ikongo Bonkangu. He served faithfully until his resignation in 1999, when the local pastors appointed Brother Eale Nkongi to take over the responsibility. After 25 years of dedicated service, Brother Eale passed the work on to Brother Jacques Iyomi.

The library moved from place to place, until it got its own place with the support of our dear brother Joseph Inkune Mboyo, who devoted himself to it, heart and soul to this program of God.

In 1988, the library served only one assembly in the city of Mbandaka ; currently is serves 53 assemblies, not counting the surroundings. It contains 27 libraries centers and sub-centers including a thousand of churches. Some of these churches have from two to three thousands believers.

This library established in the capital of the province of Equator distributes materials in the vast territories of : Basankusu, Befale, Bikoro, Boende, Bokungu, Bolomba, Djolu, Ikela, Ingende, Lukolela, Makanza, Mbandaka, Monkoto, and Wangata.
